As CEO of Hua Dan, a non-profit in China focused on empowering migrant workers, we use participation in theatre as a tool for personal and social transformation in their communities. As my own focus became more global it was essential that I adapt my leadership skills to work with the Board and re-design the organization.

Working with Maura has enabled me to reflect on some of the blocks I face in moving forward the vision for the organization. She has helped me to develop practical methods for my day to day to working life and how to share more about our story for maximum impact. Maura has offered frameworks for helping me to better communicate my vision for the company and enabled me to work better as a team with our partners. We were able to successfully evolve Hua Dan in terms of organization structure, leadership culture and financial stability. I have found Maura’s coaching to be a huge help in moving us all forward together.

Jennifer Meehan

Intelligent and insightful debate, engagement on business, political and social issues in our community here in Hong Kong, all shared among an intimate group of women from a range of backgrounds, but all leaders in their respective areas of expertise: this is what Forum for Executive Women (FEW) brings to me. FEW gives me the space, so regretfully limited in our full lives, to learn and to think. Through our conversations, I am able to question and challenge my own thinking on important issues affecting my organization and my life, to push myself in unexpected ways. I have also developed a new network of professional women, women I would likely not have met in the course of my regular work. It is apt to close by recognizing Maura, who makes all of this happen with her curiosity, intelligence and passion. For this, I am very grateful.
